This course is designed to develop and provide knowledge on the terminal characteristics of logic families,  the fundamentals of digital logic and the operation and design of combinational and  sequential logic circuits.

The course is aimed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the full range of Unix operating system. The course is designed in a way which allows students to admire open software system, which is the imminent software solution world wide. At the end of the course student will have the skills required to use Unix operating system as their development platform and user environment.

This course is an introduction to research methods and some of the major issues/topics that are addressed in research work.  students will be introduced to ways of choosing interesting and motivating subjects, as well as basin principles and concrete procedures for successful research work.  the course also examines various research methods with illustrations drawn from specific studies in the areas of computer science and software engineering.
